My Treasure Africa Awards is not a single ceremony or a Tanzania-only event. It is an international awards platform created to deliver multiple award programmes, category groups, and editions across Africa and the global community.

Each edition responds to its award focus, audience, partners, and host destination while following the same commitment to credible recognition, inclusive participation, and meaningful impact. This structure allows the platform to celebrate excellence in different sectors and places over time.

Tanzania 2026 is a featured completed edition, not the full scope of the organisation. Held on August 23rd under the theme “Excellence Together,” it brought together international nominees, designers, creators, and cultural icons from over 13 countries. The star-studded stage was hosted by celebrated presenters Ruvimbo Mai Takas, Eugenia Chiwawa, and Angeline Makamba.

Among the night’s most celebrated winners, Zayn Craft Designs — a Tanzanian handmade art enterprise — claimed the prestigious Best Designer Award. Pageantry crowns and individual category honours including Best Male Photogenic were also awarded to deserving recipients across Africa and beyond.
